Washington Middle School is an inclusive community of staff, students, and families. Our mission is to prepare and empower students to be community, career, and college ready through the values of PRIDE.

A Message From The Principal

At Washington Middle School, we live by our School Mission! We strive daily to build strong, positive relationships and collaborate with students, families, and the community, as we know that it truly takes a team to educate and raise each child. We believe that every student can learn and our staff works tirelessly to make this happen by: providing proper supports and scaffolds, using data to guide decisions, supporting students Social Emotional Learning, building strong relationships with students and families, and creating engaging, rigorous content lessons that are aligned to State Standards.

Daily we ask our students to: “Take PRIDE in themselves, the school, and the community." We use the pillars of PRIDE (positive, responsible, inclusive, determined, engaged) to guide our daily encounters and conversations with students to help instill these core values. We believe that positively reinforcing these values will lead to students who are successful at Washington Middle School!
